Choice of metal
Yellow gold, white gold or platinum? The metals have different properties, expressions and ways of evolving over the years.
Some jewelry marks a moment. Others become part of the story that follows.
An engagement ring, wedding ring, or morning gift can carry with it memories of people, places, and moments. In time, the piece of jewelry becomes a part of the person wearing it – and perhaps, one day, part of a new story.
At Langaard, we have had the privilege of being part of some of life's greatest moments since 1983. We help you find, or create, jewelry that holds significance far beyond the day itself.
Studio in Oslo
Sometimes the right piece of jewelry does not yet exist.
Perhaps it begins with an idea. A specific stone. An old ring that needs new life. Or the desire for something that should only exist as a single piece.
In our studio in Oslo, our goldsmiths create jewelry for the individual. From the first lines on paper to the choice of stone, metal, and final details, we follow the entire process from idea to finished piece. What begins as a sketch becomes a piece of jewelry. And, in time, a part of someone's story.
At Juvelér Langaard, we set aside time to get to know you, your wishes, and the story you wish to create.
Whether you come to find your first engagement ring, choose wedding bands, or create a piece of jewelry especially for you, we will guide you through the entire process.

A diamond is more than the four Cs. Cut, color, clarity, and carat tell a lot about a diamond – but not everything.
We show you what we look for when we select diamonds, and what is worth knowing before you choose yours.
A ring shouldn't just look right. It should feel right on your hand. See how to find the right size – whether the ring is for yourself or someone you want to surprise.
In our studio, we care for jewelry through maintenance, repair, and redesign, and create new pieces according to your wishes. With respect for the craft and history, we ensure that jewelry can be worn and passed down for generations.
A Langaard diamond is chosen because it stands out. Out of hundreds of stones, we select only those diamonds that possess the unique combination of beauty, brilliance, and character we look for.
For a diamond cannot be judged by a certificate alone. Two stones with seemingly identical gradings can appear completely different when they meet the light. Therefore, each diamond is evaluated individually, using gemological knowledge and experience built up over more than 40 years.
It is this uncompromising selection that characterizes a Langaard diamond – a stone chosen for its beauty today, and to be passed down through generations.
