Atelier 1983
Everything begins in the atelier. With a sketch. A stone. An idea of what it might become.
Since 1983, Juvelér Langaard has created jewellery in Stortingsgata, Oslo. Here, designers, goldsmiths and diamond setters work closely together, combining different areas of expertise throughout the process.
A diamond or coloured gemstone may provide the starting point. At other times, it begins with an idea drawn on paper. From there, proportions are refined, materials are chosen and settings are developed before the piece takes its final form in the hands of our craftspeople.
Atelier 1983 brings together jewellery created in our Oslo workshop, from solitaire and three-stone rings to one-of-a-kind pieces made by hand. Each reflects the principles that have shaped Langaard since 1983: carefully selected stones, skilled craftsmanship and close attention to every detail.
Atelier 1983 is where these elements come together – from the first sketch to the finished piece.
