Some of nature’s most remarkable creations are defined by colour.

Iris is Juvelér Langaard’s celebration of the extraordinary spectrum found in coloured gemstones. The collection takes its name from the Greek word for rainbow and from Iris, the goddess who carried messages between heaven and earth.

Each piece begins with the stones. A sapphire in an unexpected shade. An emerald with remarkable depth. A ruby with a particularly rich colour. Selected individually, the gemstones are brought together in combinations where colour, proportion and contrast shape the design.

Familiar gemstones appear in less familiar shades, while unexpected combinations reveal nuances that might otherwise go unnoticed. Diamonds add light and contrast, allowing the colours of the gemstones to become the defining element of each piece.
