How to Measure Your Ring Size
Finding the right ring size is important for both comfort and fit. Whether you are choosing a ring for yourself or someone else, there are several simple ways to determine the correct size. Here is how to get started.
Measure Your Finger
You can determine your ring size by measuring the circumference of your finger.
- Use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string.
- Wrap it around the finger where the ring will sit.
- Mark the point where the ends meet.
- If using string, lay it flat against a ruler and measure the length in millimetres.
- The measurement in millimetres will approximately correspond to your European ring size.
Measure an Existing Ring
If you already have a ring that fits the intended finger comfortably, you can use it to determine the correct size.
- Choose a ring that fits the finger well.
- Place the ring on a flat surface.
- Measure the inside diameter from one inner edge to the other, across the centre of the ring. Use millimetres.
- Find the corresponding measurement in the size chart below to determine your ring size.

Our Advice
Measure More Than Once
Small variations in measurement can make a difference of one ring size. We recommend measuring a few times to ensure the most accurate result.
Choose the Right Time
Finger size can vary throughout the day and may be affected by temperature. We recommend measuring towards the end of the day, when your hands are at a comfortable, normal temperature.
Consider the Width of the Ring
Wider rings can feel tighter than narrower designs. You may therefore need to choose a slightly larger size.
Between Two Sizes?
If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger one. If you are unsure, our team will be happy to help you find the right fit.
